Sample the arts of the Adirondacks
In addition to having our own historical society, Inlet is situated near some renowned Adirondack arts and culture assets, including Great Camp Sagamore, View, and the Adirondack Experience.
The Inlet Historical Society is active year-round and the IHS building, located on Main Street, across from historic The Woods Inn, is open in the summer months for free tours of the IHS collections.
Every summer in late July, Inlet hosts an "Evening with the Symphony" in Arrowhead Park, preceded by a special benefit cocktail party at the nearby The Woods Inn. Also in July, Inlet hosts a weekend fair entitled "Arts in the Park" which provides a venue for many different artisans to display and sell their creations.
Inlet is also a four-season home base for many photographers, plein-air painters, and various other artists.
