Hiking

Kunjamuk Trail extends 8.2 miles from the Long Pond Trail - 0.8 mile from the Cisco Brook trailhead - to the Big Brook Road trailhead. The trail passes Kunjamuk River and traverses the shore of Round Pond.

Cross-country skiing

This ski starts along a woods road, which is heavily traveled by locals, and accesses hunting camps located on International Paper property, but is open to the public for recreation. The road has a slight continual climb to it before the trail breaks off on the left to a foot trail. From here you will notice much less use and you may need to break trail. The pond will come in on the left with ample opportunities for vistas out over the ice. Chimney, Humphrey, Pine, and Bullhead Mountains can be seen from the shore.

Horseback riding

Horses can be ridden for 2.5 miles of the Kunjamuk Trail, from the trailhead to the western shore of Round Pond.
