17th Annual Holiday Stroll in Speculator

Time: 1  - 6 p.m.

Location: At the Lane Emporium (In Charlie Johns Parking lot) and the Lake Pleasant Library

Are you ready to kick off the holiday shopping season with a local twist? On Black Friday, we invite you to explore our town's unique and diverse array of shops, boutiques, and eateries. It's a perfect opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind gifts and support your neighbors and friends in the community. Come out to visit Santa at the Lane Emporium.

Santa's coming to the Lane Emporium 2 pm - 4 pm and the Lake Pleasant Library 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm.

Tree lighting and caroling will be held at 4:30 pm. at Dean Lane Park, at the four corners across the street from Charlie Johns. 

Holiday Stroll 2023 Yeti Scavenger Hunt

Head over to our local businesses and find the yetis! Once you find a yeti, take a picture and tag the business and the Chamber on Facebook or Instagram—there will be prizes for the winners! The more Yetis you find, the better your chance of winning!

Prizes

Two $25 Chamber Gift Certificates and a Chamber Tshirt. 

Pick up a Yeti Scavenger Hunt game card at the Chamber or the Lake Pleasant Library.

Business Specials!

• Howard Hanna, Real Estate-Speculator Office, invites you to stop by for free treats for children and Holiday cheer for adults.  Magic Reindeer Food bags will be given to the first 50 children.

• NBT will hold a raffle that day. The doors will close at 4 p.m., and people can enter to win a gift bag of goodies. 

• The library will have a mailbox for kids to drop letters to Santa. They will have letters and envelopes for them to fill out.

• The Friends of the Library will have their room open in the back of the library for people to look at and purchase books by donation.

• Firetower Pizza will be open, serving Homemade Chili and soup, as well as party Pizza slices at discounted prices.

• Lemon Tree Brewery will have free hot chocolate and cookies. 10% off gift cards and merchandise. Live music from the Wayward Folk starting at 5:30 pm

• Mountain Market will provide free hot chocolate or coffee with cookies for the stroll and will hold a gift basket drawing.

• Tracy’s Rustic Relics and Lost in the Woods is 10% off store-wide, with refreshments and door prizes. Open 8 am -6 pm.

• Lake Pleasant Golf for the Stroll: Discounted Memberships, Receive a Free Greens Fee with purchase of Single or Couple Adult Membership, Buy 3 Get 1 Free Greens Fee, and Discounted Cart Cards Available and Make Great Gifts

• Mountain Community United Methodist Church. Hot chocolate. Nativity displays.

• Speculator Spirits will have tastings from 10 am until close at 6 pm

• Charlie Johns Store will have 10% off gift cards.  Fresh Christmas trees and refreshments are available inside.

• The Speculator Department Store will have gift certificate giveaways, spend $25, earn a $5 gift certificate; $50, earn $10; $75, earn $15; $100, earn $20; $150, earn $35; $200, earn $50; plus complimentary gift wrapping and prize drawings!

• Adirondog Suites and Treats will offer 5% off treats and select dog food, Gift certificates for sale, complimentary dog treat bags, and a holiday backdrop and Christmas tree for holiday pet photos.

• McCombs will have maple syrup and maple syrup gift baskets for holiday shopping at the Speculator Department Store.
