Tucked away in seclusion a short way off the main tourist route, this "jewel" of a campground remains one of the best kept secrets in the Adirondacks.
Facilities
Camping for tents and RV/trailers with 84 sites, a picnic area with tables and fireplaces, flush toilets, a trailer dump station, and a recycling center. Families can enjoy bicycling here as well.
Boating and Fishing
Launch your own boats on site or rentals are available. Anglers will enjoy fishing for rare brook trout and more common smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, sunfish, yellow perch, brown bullhead, sucker common shiner, and golden shiner.
Additional Information
The campground offers nearby trails to Black Bear Mountain, Bug Lake, Eagle Lake, and Eighth Lake. From the campground, access the trail Shallow Lake or the nearby West Mountain, the high point in the Pigeon Lake Wilderness.
